About the Event
The Wellassa Robotics Challenge 2025 is a national level robotics competition organized by the Society of Mechanical Engineering Technology (SoMET) of Uva Wellassa University.
WRC brings together teams from universities and higher education institutes across Sri Lanka to design, build and program fast autonomous robotic systems capable of solving real world engineering challenges under competitive conditions.
More than just a competition, WRC serves as a platform to ignite innovation, encourage collaboration, and promote excellence in robotics and automation. The event aims to strengthen the national robotics community while inspiring young innovators to lead the future of intelligent systems.
